Works for me. I can now see if my Cisco DMVPN tunnel interfaces are up or down and alert based on that.

Thank you for the tip. How can I make this change specific to a device, or to a class ?

You can make this specific by making a local copy of the ethernetcsmacd template on the device class that you want it to apply to. Then, you go about editing that template ala the instructions above. You can only have the ethernetcsmacd template apply to a device class (it is a component template, which works differently than device templates), not a specific device. If you want it on a specific device, maybe you have to place that device in a seperate sub-device class of its own and put the template there too.

Hi again ! Sorry to bother you but I'm actually stuck on the first step... Here's what's returned when I do an SNMP GET on an interface :

IF-MIB::ifOperStatus.2 = INTEGER: up(1)

I can't graph this value.. It seems like I get stuck with the whole string "up(1)" instead of "1"
Any ideas ?

You're just confusing yourself. That's snmpwalk automatically translating it from it's Mibs. Zenoss will see it as a 1.
