So, what if a traceroute frm the Zenoss server to an end device shows hops with no IP addresses, as in the example below? We operate an MPLS network in between Zenoss and the end host. There is also a bridging firewall in the path. I believe hop #2 is a result of the MPLS network which I think is not sending back the ICMP time-expired packets.

Will your manual topology trick work?

OK, old post but I tried doing this and adding the interface gives me an error everytime.

Interface name: ethernet1/3.16

When I add that in Zenoss 3.2 it says in a yellow bar at the top "had errors"

I'll post in forum, see if someome can help.
