I get the following when trying to install this ZenPack:

zenpack --install /tmp/ZenPacks.fdeckert.myeventviews-1.2-py2.4.egg

No handlers could be found for logger "root"

2010-01-15 23:01:39,487 INFO zen.HookReportLoader: loading reports from:/opt/app/3party/zenoss/2-5-1/ZenPacks/ZenPacks.fdeckert.myeventviews-1.2-py2.4.egg/ZenPacks/fdeckert/myeventviews/reports

ERROR: zenpack command failed. Reason: KeyError: '2'

Done installing ZenPack.

Any ideas?

using zenoss core 2.4.5 on Centos 5.3, the zenpack installs fine, but does not appear.

probably to be expected, since this zenpack is made for zenoss 2.2 too bad.

edit: never mind, i just had to wait a few minutes. after restarting zenoss, it took a while before the portlet became available. cool stuff. thank you!

Hey, I found a bug: if you select an event view and delete it, it actually doesn't get deleted.

Having this on Zenoss core 2.4.5 (if that matters)

i have about 5 event views, and it would be really nice if i could add the portlet twice, once to show the first two event views, and another one containing the other 3.

You can download and test a Python 2.6 build for Zenoss 3.0 from http://dev.zenoss.org/zenpacks/. Please report back if it worked.

Thank you, Matt.

But it works wierd a bit

   1. The portlet has a 2.5.* skin
   2. Clicking at the "Events" column does nothing
   3. Clicking at the "Name" column opens the event view "Edit" page (shall open a View page)
   4. Portlet propetries -> "Save settings" does nothing. So, I can't change neither refresh rate nor title.
   5. "Add event view..." and "Delete Event Views..." links are not useful (looks bad, not clickable).

Very useful ZenPack, it's common for a device to have multiple issues and we needed to separate them.

The Zenpack is working but in a weird way. It shows a consolidated view of "Event View" but we can't clic on the alerts' rectangles and the add/remove event view is misplaced and unclicable

Would be nice if this Zenpack were updated.

Hi,

This doesn't seem to work on 3.2.1. It installs but only offers you the option to create an Event View. If you try to create one, it tells you:

"Site error

An error was encountered while publishing this resource. The requested resource does not exist.

Please click here to return to the Zenoss dashboard"

Tried to run on Zenoss 4.2.3 , Installation worked well after renaming it 2.7py but no data or information in the portlet . Its pure blank
