Sorry, forgot to update this post. This was fixed with the 1.0.1 release of the zenpack.

Hi all,

I am customizing some reports for the instances that we are monitoring at work. I see that Zenoss allows us to create two types of reports, the reports that show data into tables and the graphs reports.

I would like to integrate this data tables with the graphs into one report, but I have not found a way to do this.

I wanted to know if this is possible? And if so, how can I achieve this?

Hello trying to install ZenPacks.sodonnell.MACReport-1.0.1-py2.6.egg.zip in Zenoss Core 3.0 and it refeuses to show up in the "installed Zenpacks" tab, is there something I'm missing on the pre-reqs?

You have to install a .egg file, not a .zip file. (No error message if you do install a .zip file.)

Also, you have to restart Zenoss.

Successfully installed this zenpack on zenoss 3.1 and 3.2.1

Pack: ZenPacks.sodonnell.MACReport-1.0.1-py2.6.egg.zip

Changed line 3 in the report template from:

objects python:[ d for d in objectsTemp if hasattr(d,'macaddress') and d.macaddress != '' and d.macaddress.split(':').count('00') != len(d.macaddress.split(':'))];

to:

objects python:[ d for d in objectsTemp if hasattr(d,'macaddress') and d.macaddress != '' and d.macaddress and d.macaddress.split(':').count('00') != len(d.macaddress.split(':'))];

This prevents "Value: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'split' " Errors

@Steven O'Donnell: Can you add this change to a new package, e.g. version 1.0.2?
