Do you know anything that I could convert an XML file to a twill script? I tried a few and they do not work or at least I cannot get it to work

I keep getting the following error when I attempt to install the zenpack.

ERROR: zenpack command failed. Reason: OSError: [Errno 20] Not a directory: '/opt/zenoss/Products/ZenPacks.synthetictransactions.SonnyStormes-1.0-py2.4.egg/skins'

Make sure you've unzipped it before attempting to install it.

zenpack --install ZenPacks.synthetictransactions.SonnyStormes-1.0-py2.4.egg

not

zenpack --install ZenPacks.synthetictransactions.SonnyStormes-1.0-py2.4.egg.zip

Doesn't work at all in 3.1. Won't install properly. No errors when installing through the ZenOSS interface -- it just doesn't show up, even after restarting...

Doesn't work at all in 3.1.

Rename ZenPacks.synthetictransactions.SonnyStormes-1.0-py2.4.egg to ZenPacks.synthetictransactions.SonnyStormes-1.0-py2.6.egg (change the 4 to a 6). Then zenpack --install ZenPacks.synthetictransactions.SonnyStormes-1.0-py2.6.egg.

is there plans to modify it for 4.2?

I'm not sure any modifications are needed to get this to run on 4.2. I just pulled down the original source code and installed it.

There were a couple of installation errors, but they were not 4.2 related errors. I had to manually create /Devices/Websites.

Doing that installing twill using easy_install allowed it to install.

You can probably just download the 2.4 file and rename it to 2.7 and it should install.
