Missing Prerequisite (for installing zenpack):&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Create the following class prior to installing this ZenPack: /Devices/Network/Switch/&lt;strong style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Cisco&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The ZenPack install via the GUI seemed like it installed (threw no errors) but in-fact failed to install.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Result:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Got the ZenPack to install via the command line.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;First attempt failed sighting the missing class.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Second attempt was successful after creating the &lt;strong style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;/Devices/Network/Switch/Cisco&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;#160; class.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2.) &lt;strong style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;cpu5min OID errors out:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Got info event stating that the cpu5min OID is bad.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Looked at the Cisco tech notes for the Catalyst (&lt;a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094a94.shtml"&gt;http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094a94.shtml&lt;/a&gt;) and gleaned that either of the following oids could be used for cpu5min:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;gt; .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;gt; .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Result:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Modified the cpu5min data to probe: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tested it against a Catalyst switch and got a successful reading.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Still getting Zennoss Info event stating that the oid is bad.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Need assistance to fix this issue.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:e77c540d-fb8c-447e-8dd4-871274bf1319] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:ed92dd8d-db43-464f-aaa2-7fd6ae886321] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;This ZenPack page is brand spankin' new and I haven't even had a chance to update it yet which is why the pre-requisite of creating the /Devices/Network/Switch/Cisco isn't on the page yet (I will be editing the page today).&amp;#160; Secondly, you misunderstand the purpose of this ZenPack.&amp;#160; Catalyst switches originally ran on Catalyst OS.&amp;#160; Many of them run on IOS now.&amp;#160; The reason the OID didn't work for you is because the switch that you are talking about is running IOS not CatOS, meaning this ZenPack is not what you should be using to monitor that switch.&amp;#160; You should copy the template from /Network/Router/Cisco to /Network/Switch/Cisco and use that instead.&amp;#160; This pack is only for switches that are running CatOS (and I will emphasize that at the top of the ZenPack page when I edit it).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:ed92dd8d-db43-464f-aaa2-7fd6ae886321] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:d340769a-2da3-45d4-be32-b81ed74cc3e4] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;That python error is because the template dynamically calculates the memory threshold based on the total memory.&amp;#160; Until you've allowed it to actually collect the data for 3 polling cycles (15 minutes) then you'll get that error.&amp;#160; It's normal and harmless.&amp;#160; Of course, if it exists for longer than 3 polling cycles then it means that the memory OIDs are not working against the device.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I should also add that there's a big notice at the top of the ZenPack page stating "&lt;strong&gt;This ZenPack is only to be used with Cisco Catalyst switches that are running CatOS.&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;#160; It is not intended for monitoring IOS."&amp;#160; Make sure that you're not trying to use this against a Catalyst switch that's running IOS.&amp;#160; It'll only work against Catalyst OS (CatOS) which is rarely in use anymore.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:d340769a-2da3-45d4-be32-b81ed74cc3e4] --&gt;</description>
