      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:e950cba3-bf82-436c-b826-480d87eb2366] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I meant to send this a long time ago but FYI, the ISG and SSG model firewalls that we are using were actually created by Netscreen, who were subsequently acquired by Juniper.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Jane guessed correctly - these have enterprise OIDs that start with .1.3.6.1.4.1.3224 and thus this Zenpack won't work with them.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Figured I'd post in case other people with the older Netscreen models were considering trying this Zenpack.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:e950cba3-bf82-436c-b826-480d87eb2366] --&gt;</description>

In most cases the existing data was picked up.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;All nodes are now properly modeled.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Once again, thanks!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:020238fd-644b-41ac-aa26-84fe1f699ed0] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:e34daea4-d2a2-48e7-b890-2eb9e39ca110] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have occasionally seen this before.&amp;#160; Incidentally, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS do zenoss stuff as the zenoss user; other wise you can end up with stuff not owned by zenoss and that causes havoc.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thins to try:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1) Use Shift-Refresh on your broswer&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2) Clear the browser cache&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3) I assume you have stopped and restarted Zenoss entirely since installing the ZenPack?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;4) Delete the device and rediscover it, making sure it goes into the correct Juniper class&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;5) Use the ZMI (Zope Management Interface) to work out whether the OBJECTs are there:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; a) Point browser at &amp;lt;your zenoss&amp;gt;:8080//zport/dmd/manage&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; b) In the left hand window, navigate to the correct device class and then in the main window go down devices&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; c) Navigate down the instance for your device&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; d) You should see the realtionships for the different components - there should be a JuniperVl&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; e) Are there any instances under the Vl??????&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&amp;#160; f) If yes, then the modeler is fine and it is just an issue with the GUI&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;6) What browser are you using?&amp;#160; I always use Firefox (currently 15)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cheers,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Jane&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:e34daea4-d2a2-48e7-b890-2eb9e39ca110] --&gt;</description>

There is a problem with the zenpack install in that it is setting the shell scripts in /lib to 664 which they can't execute. chmod +x *.sh fixes them and removes the warning messages.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Brad&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:4eb7364d-1454-480e-b7dd-494d2455269b] --&gt;</description>
