I've tried this but the installation stops with this

My guess is that you didn't create the /Mibs/Dell organizer before installing.

Does this work with py2.6 / 3.0? - Any plans to support it if not?

I was able to make it work by just creating a new ZenPack and using the objects.xml file from this ZenPack. Seems to be fully functional. I shot a PM over to jbaird for how he wanted me to contribute back and can post it then. In the mean time, that same thing should work for you.

Did you test the version from http://dev.zenoss.org/zenpacks/ ? I assume that it works, it just needs to be verified.

I'm pretty new to zenoss, and I'm getting the same problem. Where/how do I create the /Mibs/Dell organizer?

I tried in Events -> Event Classes -> Classes page making a Mibs organizer, and a Dell one in that, but still getting the same error.

Anyone got issues installing this ZenPack in version 3.1.0? I installed in a 3.0.3 version instance, but I wasn't able to get it installed on the Zenoss newer version (both 2.4 and 2.6). Any thoughts?

This Zenpack does not install in Zenoss 3.2.1. Looks like it contains a link to a site that is no longer alive. I created the /Mibs/Dell MIB Organizer and then tried to install the Zenpack.

I got this error:

Just a clarification, to add the Mibs/Dell organizer on Zenoss Core 3.2.3:

1. Advanced tab > MIBs

2. Click the + sign in the bottom left, Add MIB Organizer

3. Call the new organizer "Dell"

Then import the ZenPack as usual.

I was spinning my wheels on this for a while after having added Mibs and Mibs/Dell to my Event Class organizers.
