How would you go about chaining a component replacement statement together, as I need to also replace a ":" from an interface such as this; Serial0/1/0:21 with underscores as well? The above method works perfectly on my 3.0 installation, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to replace both the "/" and ":" with underscores.

Any takers?

I figured it out and found out that you can just place a second statement below the first one. See my example below:

interfaceID = evt.component.replace('/', '_')
interfaceID = interfaceID.replace(':', '_')
