How do I start HttpMonitor

I've followed the instructions here for HttpMonitor

But its not doing anything, how do I start it running?

    Check out the new httpmonitor how to for details on a working setup:

    docs/DOC-3234

     

    Pertaining to how to get httpmonitor "running", it does not run like how a program runs. You have a datasource that is setup to do a http check on every collection cycle (default is 5 minuts i think). So at that cycle time, it will go out and check your website and get back data about how long it took and if it was reachable.
