Zensyslog listen on TCP

Is it possible to change the zensyslog daemon to listen on TCP instead of UDP?

No. As you can see here, zensyslog is hard coded to listen via UDP.

If you really need it, you can probably configure rsyslog or syslog-ng on your Zenoss box to receive incoming TCP syslog and then forward it via UDP to an alternate zensyslog port at the loopback address.

I wrote an article here that does something like that with UDP but not TCP.
