Does anyone know if the maintenance window issues have been addressed in 3.2.0? Last time I tried to use the auto maintenance windows (3.1.0), the production state was not set back to what it was before.

This is discussed in message/56673#56673 including a pointer to the ticket at http://dev.zenoss.com/trac/ticket/7751 . There is a fix givem towards the end of the ticket record and a suggestion that this is fixed in 3.2.

The ticket doesn't seem to appear as closed anywhere but my 3.2 code DOES have the suggested change at line 292 of $ZENHOME/Products/Zuul/facades/devicefacade.py.

If you are going to upgrade to 3.2 then do make sure you get the 3 fixes documente3d here community/zca/blog/2011/09/22/zca-update-for-september-22-2011--zenoss-32-warning-zenpacks .
