Nagios or Zenoss

Trying to decide on a monitoring tool to monitor and alert on VMware vSphere 4/5 "i" host and respective virtual machines running on those host. Key point is it is ESX "i" not ESX. I've got Zenoss 3.2.1 up and running but natively it does not show you much in regards to the ESXi host or the Virtual machines running on those host. I see Zenpacks are available but they look like they are for ESX and NOT ESX "i" unless I misread. I've read the quick start guide, admin, and others but they really don't talk about how to setup monitoring of VMware ESX "i" host.
Does anyone have advice where to start? Is there a white paper or a guide that talks specifically about using Zenoss to monitor and report on vSphere "i" and and virtual machines on those host.
Thank you!
Tom
I've not used either, but I see two ESX"i" packs on the ZenPack page:
