    Re: Nortel Zenpack

Awesome dude, thanks a lot.  What about the Vlan thing?

I would like to make a "feature request", if you don't mind.

Can you create different device classes for the 3 main types of switches from nortel/avaya?

You have created a class for Passports, but I think Baystacks should be their own class, BPS should be it's own class, and so should ERS (mainly 4500s, 5500s, and 5600s - I don't have any 2500s).

Baystacks don't have much in their snmp database, besides fan and power, however the ERS 4500 and 5500s, have CPU, Memory, as well as enviornmental data (temp, fan, etc).  It would be ideal to have an ERS class that took advantage of the that resource that the baystacks do not have.  I can provide the oids for each data point if you would like (the easy part I know).

Can we submit this to Nick Yeates for inclusion on the Zenpack's page?

    Re: Nortel Zenpack

After reading through the description and comments, it seems that this ZenPack might be removed from its Beta state. Unclear to me at first, was that this ZenPack is wholly seperate from the prior 'ZenPacks.Jcolon.NortelPassport' ZenPack - not just a new version of the prior one. This is correct yes?

Rebellinux, do you have a github acct?

If so, let me know if the code is already out there on your acct.

If not, can you send me the code, or step through my github instructions?

    Thanks

    -Nick Yeates

    Re: Nortel Zenpack

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here, but I am still getting the "Operationally down" messages from some devices.  I have 2 1648T modeled in this zenoss, instance, and both are under the passport device class.  However, on one, there are no operationally down mesasages, while the other one has it for every port that does is operationally down.  Why the discrepancy?

I looked at the modeler plugins for both, and they are identical.  The only difference between them (and i'm not sure if this is trivial or not), is that on the none working device Components order is

    {Ports tables, Interfaces, Network Routes, Power Supplices, Topology Tables, Card Tables, Console Ports, Vlan Tables}

and on the working one, it's:

{Network Routes, Power Supplies, Topology Tables, Ports Tables, Cards Tables, Interfaces, Console Ports, Vlan Tables}.

    Re: Nortel Zenpack

How do we download the latest version of this zenpack?  The Github page links to HPEva, not this.  The one available here seems to be 1.4.4, but 1.4.7.1 seems to be available on Github, but not in egg format.
