Zenoss collectors

I'm looking at getting another zenoss server up and running. What i would like to do is use this zenoss to collect from the other zenoss servers? I've been looking around and what i've been finding is i need Zenoss Enterprise to do this. Is that correct? or is there a way around that? I'm running version 3.1.0
Thanks!!
If you are talking about distributed collector it is possible in core but not 'officially' supported. There is a community zenpack by Egor that makes it much easier then doing it by hand.

Seconding dhopp. distributed collectors are what you are after, they are not 'supported' by work and Egor's pack is without a doubt the way to go.
Thanks for that. Thats a big help. Now i haven't played around with it to much yet, but when i collect from a remote server is there a way to collect only certain device classes? or do i have to collect everything?
I haven't used it, but if I recall correctly, you assign individual devices to collectors. Of course, you can do this programatticly.

Correct Devices are assigned to collectors, not device classes. Obviously you could assign all deviced in a device class to a set collector, achieving your desired end result
I have Egor's distributed collectors running on Zenoss 3.2.0 (CentOS 5.8 stack-installer). I'm planning to migrate my system to newer Zenoss 4.x (CentOS 6.3 rpms). Is this possible to run distributed collectors the same way on the new 4.x version?
