Fping Root issue

Hi
Can you please assist. I have downloaded the Fping zenpack.
It requires me to run it as root. How do you change the command so that it runs as root.
I have tried to set it up using GKSU, but this also proved not to be working.

You can add the command to the /etc/sudoers file to enable access for the zenoss users to the command.
This will enable you to run the command as zenoss user.

Do you perhaps have an example of the sudoers file.
I have tried muliple entries and just could not get it right
