Connectivity requirements for Zenoss (Windows clients)

Hello everybody
I'm getting started using Zenoss, I have reviewed documents and also some forum articles, but I'm unable to find a detailed firewall configuration to use Zenoss with windows clients.
The issue that I'm facing is that I'm able monitor windows servers in the same VLAN than the Zenoss server is located, but when i try to discover or add devices from other networks it is not working properly. I think that i don't have correct configuration in my firewall to allow traffic between zenoss servers and windows clients?
So my question is very simple, What are the ports that needs to be opened to monitor windows servers?
As far as I know SNMP uses 161 and 162 UDP ports. But I'm not really sure what are the needed ports to use WMI as well.
Please I will appreciate so much if you can provide information about that or redirect me to the correct post or document
Thanks in advanced.
Fernando
You need to allow the protocols you want to use. If you want to use WMI, I'd just turn off any firewalling between Zenoss and the servers you want to monitor via WMI. WMI really is a PITA to get working with a firewall.

Thank you so much for your quick answer, So Do you mean that I need open an ANY <-> ANY rule opening between Zenoss server and all clients?. Is it not possible open only needed ports?
Regards
Depends on how much time you want to spend debugging what ports you need. WMI uses random high ports, so I suppose you could allow specific ports like SNMP etc, and then 1025-65000 or so... But really why bother? You could not use WMI I suppose, or use a VPN or something to tunnell the connections if you wanted but that's going to require configuration changes also...

Well, some more info - you can scale back what WMI will use port wise, though it's still a larger amount that I'd like -- see:
