Associating windows services with a template

Hello
I am currently testing Zenoss (4.2.0). I'd like to know if there is any way to group any number of windows services under a "monitoring template" - in such a way that those services would be monitored (up/down state) for some classes of servers and ignored for the rest. In a nutshell - a functionality similar to nagios service groups. So far I have not found a way to do it.
Thank you.
Windows services are by default monitored. So if they are not running, but set to automatic they will create an event.
You could use an event transform to drop the events based on device class or machine group.
Dpetzel,
That is awesome, I can't believe I didn't know that!
I should also point out, that if you want to monitor these purely using SNMP, rmatte has a zenpack for that: docs/DOC-12999
Thanks - will give it a try.
