API to query VMWare Infrastructure details

Hi,

 

I am looking for API to query VMWare Infrastructure details like Clusters, Host, Virtual Machines, Data Stores from Zenoss. I will be querying from a Java Program. Please let me know which API's can I use to query the VMWare Infrastructure details and also performance details all the VMWare Infra objects.
