Network Alert.

Since 2009 and I am have been a fan of Zenoss - Yes i have problems installing it as its a very complex system. But still in love if what it does. I have a quick question you guys might have the time to inlight me.

I will be montoring systems in a remote location, lets say its location. it have a firewall (FWa) and two system behind it (SYS1A) (SYS2A)....

all three nodes are monitoered by Zenoss.

now let take this example;

If FWA is down I would get an alert (GOOD ) however SYS1A and SYS2A are not offline. I would still alerts for them.

is there are way to make zenoss look at the closest node example FWA and determine that if offline and understand the fact that it could not reach other node. and only give one alert on FWA.

Thank you
