With the Zenoss 2.4 release, we introduced a new "Zenoss Extended Monitoring Guide", available for download from http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/

This guide covers the basics of ZenPacks and provides detailed chapters on each and every Core and Enterprise ZenPack. Make sure you check it out when investigating installing new ZenPacks. Like all of our documentation, if you find something unclear or incorrect, please open a ticket in Trac and we'll try to get it updated in a timely manner.
