As an FYI for anyone who is interested, this works out of the box on the SMC tiger Switches. tested on: SMC6128L2
This is more a general question about this ZenPack. We have out switches broken into smaller groups to keep them organized and to allow different oids to be used to poll the switches. Cisco changes some of them around depending on the switch. My question is: Do I have to change my structure to get this ZenPack to work or could I easily add this to the classes I have now?
The classes we have now are:
/network/switches/24-port/3550
/network/switches/24-port/3560
/network/switches/16-port/3750
/network/router/local/6509
/network/router/local/4506
/network/router/local/3750
/network/router/local/3845
/network/router/WAN/
Thanks for your advice.

Hi!
When I install this pack, Im not getting any new options (like Bridged interface tab on the lefthad side). The only thing I get are bridge plugins. Im using Zenoss 3.1.0.
What should I to?
Thank you!
You have stooped and started Zenoss with zenoss stop | zenoss start?
You will then need to discover devices into the /Network/Switch/BridgeMIB device class. You may be able to move devices into that class but it seems safer to discover them afresh into that class. Such devices should then have the Bridge Interfaces component.
I assume you have checked the thread at docs/DOC-3583 ?
Cheers,
Jane
