Is there a rock-solid svn build/install recipe?

Maybe I'm overlooking it, but I haven't been able to find a deterministic, clear recipe for building/installing modern Zenoss from svn source; today after pulling down 2.4.2/inst and running the install script, I found that I then had to go blow away the resulting $ZENHOME/Products and check out a complete copy into that location.

Depending on your platform, the instructions in the Installation Guide (6.1 Installing from Source) will probably work just fine. Just make sure you're building off of the proper branch (ie. 2.5.x). Here are some writeups for Ubuntu Source Build Notes and Debian Source Build Notes. I run Debian and Ubuntu at home from source, so I know these instructions work for me
