This is an updated version of the original "Creating Zenoss ZenPacks" document with lots of updates for Zenoss 3.  This is very much a draft version with a bunch of open questions.

We are considering creating a Zenoss Workshop - 2-3 days hands-on training.  We are trying to build a business case to get input from Zenoss development.  Please add a comment to thread/16018 if you would have any interest in such a workshop.
